Oh dear, Mad Dogs of all things. So far my least favourite with Simm. ^.^’
It’s a fun trip (for the watcher) seeing how fast you can derail the lives of four thirty-somethings. There’s not much I can say without spoiling the plot. Let me think.
All four grapple with their position in life as each would rather be somewhere else. Except maybe Woody. Then Alvo, their friend from olden times, invites them for a holiday showing off how he achieved everything. Also he has the skill to push people’s buttons. And suddenly everything is drugs, Mafia and bodies. And things do not improve. Well maybe in season three, but we’re not there yet…
The dynamics are great, I like Glenister and Simm together and I think, nobody likes Rick. Feel free to correct me after watching. And I love the idea of ordinary people getting thrown into extraordinary situations and having to cope. I just expect to like them more, the people, I mean.
